Some shipments cannot wait for the next cargo connection: a spare part that keeps a production line running, documents with a deadline, an item that should never leave a person's sight. These travel with an on-board courier, a person who flies as a passenger on scheduled flights and carries the shipment personally from pickup to delivery. AAT Forwarding LLC organises this service worldwide, 24/7, and is building its network of independent couriers to match.

What the work involves

As an on-board courier for AAT Forwarding LLC, you take over a shipment at the pickup address, travel with it on the flights AAT Forwarding LLC books for you, and hand it over at the delivery address. Where a job needs it, AAT Forwarding LLC also books a hotel or a rental car. Along the way you record each step, from pickup through security, boarding and immigration to delivery, so that operations and the customer know where the shipment stands. At the delivery, the recipient confirms the handover with a signature.

Couriers work with AAT Forwarding LLC as independent contractors under our Independent On-Board Courier Agreement. Jobs are offered individually as they arise, and you are free to accept or decline any job offer; registering creates no obligation on either side.

Who we are looking for

We welcome registrations from couriers based anywhere in the world. The requirements are the same everywhere and are listed in our Courier Portal:

• Valid passport with sufficient remaining validity
• Valid visas / travel authorisations where required
• Internationally usable credit card with a minimum available limit of USD 1,500
• Smartphone with worldwide roaming and mobile data
• Ability to travel internationally at short notice
• Ability to accept assignments 24/7, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Good command of English
• Clean criminal record
• Valid driving licence
• Personal travel / health insurance
• Professional appearance and reliable communication
• Willingness to carry time-critical shipments personally from pickup to delivery

Your home airport matters too: operations plans each journey from where the courier starts.

How registration works

1. Register in the Courier Portal. At courier.aatforwarding.com, enter your name as it appears in your passport, your e-mail address and a password, and add your phone number, home airport and languages. Registering makes you a candidate.
2. Upload your documents. Your passport comes first, followed by visas or travel authorisations, your driving licence and other certificates. Where a document needs your consent, the portal asks for it, and you can read it again there or withdraw it.
3. A person checks. AAT Forwarding LLC activates a courier only after a person has checked the documents. The portal shows you where the check stands.
4. Sign the agreement. You receive the Independent On-Board Courier Agreement by e-mail and sign it electronically. AAT Forwarding LLC countersigns, and you receive the signed copy.
5. Receive your courier number. Once you are approved, you receive your courier number. Your e-mail address or your courier number, with your password, is your sign-in for the Courier Portal and, later, for our courier app.

Working with operations

Once you are active, AAT Forwarding LLC offers you jobs one at a time, with the route, the time the shipment is ready and the time it must arrive. Your data

The data you enter is used to check your identity and to offer you jobs, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your documents stay in your portal account, where you can see what you have uploaded and when.
